This thought came to mind this morning when I came across this set of surveys by the Community of Oklahoma Instruction Librarians (http://okacrl.okstate.edu/coil/index.html). Survey links (doc files):

What do people think?"

I think crafting a survey about library instruction could be very informative, but the first step would be what sort of information do we wish to uncover and for what purpose?  The two that spring in my mind is first, to see what the workload is for instructional librarians in SUNY & is it sustainable and what Information literacy skills are being taught SUNY-wide & at what levels in students educational careers.  I'm sure others have ideas.            -- Heather Whalen-Smith
